Right of Withdrawal and Product Returns

In full compliance with Article 49, Paragraph 1, Letter h) of Legislative Decree No. 21/2014, the Buyer has a period of 14 (fourteen) working days to return the Products at their own expense if they are not satisfied. During this time, the Buyer must also store the Products appropriately. This period starts from the day the order is delivered. If there is a confirmed violation of Article 49, Paragraph 1, Letter h) of Legislative Decree No. 21/2014, under Article 53 of the same decree, the Buyer’s withdrawal period will be extended by twelve months beyond the initial withdrawal period. RVM may provide the Buyer with the information referred to in Article 49 within twelve months of the confirmed violation, in which case the right of withdrawal will terminate fourteen days after the day the Buyer receives such information.

If multiple Products are purchased and delivered at different times, the withdrawal period will start from the receipt of the last item in the purchase order. The withdrawal notice can be sent by following the instructions on the website www.borrominifirenze.it and completing the online procedure. The Buyer may initiate the return procedure online once the order status is marked as “Completed.”

The withdrawal period starts on the day the order is received and ends after 14 (fourteen) working days from the receipt of the order by the Buyer. Only the price of the returned products will be reimbursed using the same payment method used by the Buyer. The right of withdrawal can only be exercised by the Buyer and not by third parties.

The direct costs of returning the products, i.e., shipping expenses for the return, will be borne by the user. If the Buyer claims that RVM has failed to recognize the right of withdrawal due to non-receipt of the withdrawal notification, it is the Buyer’s responsibility to prove that the notification was sent.

Product Size Exchange
If the Buyer wishes to exchange the size of the same product, shipping costs for the return and the subsequent new shipment within Italy will be borne by RVM S.r.l. for one exchange only. Any further size exchange requests for the same product will be at the Buyer’s expense.

Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
Under Article 59 of Legislative Decree No. 21/2014, the right of withdrawal is excluded for:

  • Explicit waivers made by the Buyer;
  • Purchases of customized Products created by RVM according to the Buyer’s specifications;
  • Purchases of Products combined with others for special occasions;
  • Intimate apparel.

Unsatisfactory Products
If a Buyer exercises the right of withdrawal, the Product(s) must be returned in their original packaging and condition, complete and accompanied by the delivery slip from the courier. The Buyer will bear the shipping costs for returning the Products unless they are non-conforming. RVM will not accept returns with shipping charges billed to the recipient. The Buyer assumes all reasonable risks associated with returning the Products.

If the above conditions are met, RVM will refund the Buyer within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) working days from the day it is informed of the consumer's decision to withdraw, for an amount corresponding to the Products purchased. The Buyer is only responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

RVM will issue the refund using the same payment method used by the Buyer for the initial transaction unless otherwise agreed. No refunds will be processed if:
(a) The product has been used beyond simple opening;
(b) The product is not in the same condition as delivered and/or has been damaged and/or is not intact or in a normal state of preservation and/or lacks the identification tag.

RVM reserves the right to withhold the refund for up to 14 (fourteen) working days until the Buyer has received the goods or demonstrated that they have been shipped.

Non-Conforming Products
Non-conforming products are items sent in error by RVM or those with defects or flaws. If the Buyer considers that a Product delivered is not in compliance with the Contract, they must contact RVM within 24 hours of receiving the goods by sending a notification to the dedicated email address info@borrominifirenze.it, providing the order number and attaching photos of the item in question.

In case of a return, RVM will examine the returned product and communicate the refund procedure via email. The refund for the non-conforming item will be processed within 14 days of the email confirming that the refund will be issued.

The direct costs of returning the goods will be borne by the Buyer. However, the amount paid for returned products due to damage or defects, if verified by RVM, will be fully refunded, including the shipping costs incurred for their delivery.

Promotional Products
For promotional product purchases, returns can be processed as follows:

  • By returning all or part of the purchased items, the Buyer will receive the full amount spent on the returned product. The shipping costs for returning the goods to our warehouse are at the customer’s expense.
